As a writer for TV and radio for the past 20+ years, I met Heather in the early stages of my career. You could even say that she 'discovered' me. I was one of the winners of the Noel Gay comedy awards competition back in the 1980's, and Heather one of the readers. Heather was my first ever editor and gave me invaluable feedback on a comedy I had written for television. Due in no small part to her advice, the sitcom was later optioned by LWT and I went on to write for several well known television series.
